Picking Up Alma Mater Jackets for New Students

It's my first time visiting campus to get my alma mater jacket. I was accompanied by my mother. I was surprised to find out I would get lost in there. Thankfully I get helped with other new students and seniors. I meet many new friends in there. My major league has quite a lot of members.  

For your information, the Chemical Engineering major has 3 study programs :

- D3 Chemical Engineer

- D3 Chemical Analyst

- D4 Clean Production Chemical Engineer

church event and more

 

Church participants

My church holding a special event this week. The sermon was delivered by pastor Jesse Lantang. The events include several games and they share coupons for 10 lucky winners and grand prize 1 smartphone. too bad I didn't get one of those but I am happy that I can carry out the event well. Then there is a performance by Cici and Yogi. At the end of the events, they got the consumption sponsored by Flash Coffee. The events are entertaining and build the enthusiasm of young people. I'm glad that I can join this event.

Here is what I got from the sermon : 

1. The devil always judges us for what we do. He judges us day and night to make us not worth doing anything. But, God will never judge us. We are worth doing anything good. Hear the right voice. The devil always brings up the past while God always brings up the bright future.

2. Ephesus 2: 10 "Ergon Agathos" which means our strength that makes profit. This explains that we are formed by God to do good things. Find your calling to be affect for others. 

3. Change your perspective. Many people got it wrong about this, they do good things because they thought they would get blessed by God but instead, you do good things because God already blessed you.

4. Hebrew 10: 24 > Find the right community. Find your community that builds each other. Support each other as a team.

After that, me and my mother go to the Punclut with my uncle and aunt and their daughter to have something to eat and enjoy the view. The city light is beautiful.

Then we go to the Cikole. It is so cold in there. So cold that I forgot to take a picture. My mom wants to go there to have some hot milk.

Last Meet Before My Bestfriend Go to Lampung

My best friend Nathan will go to Lampung soon to continue his studies at the Institute Teknologi Sumatera Campus or Itera majoring in Urban and Regional Planning. Because of that, we plan to watch a movie together and talk. what we will watch is the new Marvel movies "Deadpool and Wolverine". There are some hilarious moments when I just come to the cinema. I messaged Nathan that I just come to the cinema and asked where is he. He said that he was at the Gramedia bookstore so I said to him to wait for me to go there. But somehow miscommunication happened and when I was at Gramedia and messaged Nathan asking where is he, HE SAID HE WAS AT THE CINEMA so it's like a "guess where I am now" game. I messaged him again to just wait there and I will come to the cinema. Thankfully he read my message and waited for me.

Finally, we met at the cinema at BEC mall, I saw him looking at the trailer that was shown in front of the cinema and just greeted him. We checked the schedule for the movie and know that the best seat at that cinema is already taken. We both then decided to go to another cinema where the seats were mostly not ordered yet. We are going to the cinema at BIP mall where the seats for that movie haven't mostly ordered yet. It's a little more expensive but it's worth it.

We sit in the cinema, waiting for the movie to start. We talk about our college syllabus and our alma mater. Finally, the movie started. We both go to the studio and sit on the assigned seats. We enjoyed the movies. Nathan sometimes checks his phone to find out about some terms he didn't know in the film.

An unexpected moment happens when the movie ends. When the credit rolled, I tried to take a picture for status on social media purpose. Not long after I took a picture, THE STUDIO SECURITY CAME TO ME AND ASKED ME TO DELETE THE PICTURE. I'm so embarrassed because there are still a bunch of people at the studio and this is the first time I got caught. Nathan just laughed silently. I'm deleting the picture with panic. After the after-credit, we both get out of the studio. Nathan scared me that I would be arrested by the police and get to jail but I'm just giggling (with hesitation).

After that, we go to the Gramedia bookstore. First, we go to the stationery section to see some cool pens. After that, we go to the book section. Nathan found two interesting books but he just wanted to buy one of them. We back and forth several times because he was confused about what to choose. Finally, he chose the book entitled "The Psychology of Money" by Morgan Housel.

Then we play some lego in the games section on Gramedia. I showed my friend's social media status to him about how she got an E- for her college assignment. I'm scared because she got into a polytechnic just like me. Nathan got scared too that college life would be so hard. We then talked about other stuff before we left. The clock is ticking. We finally decided to leave and go home. 

It is an honor to have a best friend like you Nathan. I learned a lot from you. we have experienced joy and sorrow together. I'm glad that I met you Nathan. Good luck with your studies. I hope you become a successful person in the future. Thank you, Nathan!
